SPI Founder and Industry Pioneer
Almost four decades ago, Karl -- already a successful software entrepreneur in his own right -- attended a timeshare convention at the Miami Beach Convention Center. It was there SPI contracted to write a business software system for a timeshare developer. The rest is history, as they say.
Several years prior to his death in 2019, Karl had stepped back from taking a direct management role. However, from the beginning, he had instilled a corporate philosophy of putting people first. Karl left an ongoing legacy of pursuing excellence and placing an emphasis on building long-term, deeply committed relationships with his staff and clients. SPI Software holds true to our founder's vision by continuously seeking to improve and innovate; always seeking to deliver value to customers.
